Dark matter is a hypothetical and invisible form of matter that does not interact with electromagnetic radiation, including light. The Large Underground Xenon (LUX-ZEPLIN) experiment and the XENON1T experiment are ongoing efforts to detect and study dark matter particles. The Square Kilometre Array will provide new insights into the distribution of dark matter in the universe.
